The Marine Corps League-South Coast Detachment 022
Rainbow® Sandals Foundation is honored to extend its support to the The Marine Corps League-South Coast Detachment 022, a remarkable non-profit dedicated to the helping the Marines and ther families.
The Marine Corps League-South Coast Detachment 022 was Chartered on January 15, 1974 and is an all-volunteer 501 {4} Non-Profit Organization. It is one of several Detachments and others overseen by the Marine Corps League National Headquarter in Merrifield, Virginia.
The MCL-SCD 022 is over 130 Members strong and meets at the San Clemente Elks Lodge on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
Regular Members are comprised of Active Duty and Retired Marines, those with a contract who have been Honorably Discharged, Fleet Marine Force Navy Corpsmen and Chaplains. Both Men & Women may become Associate Members.
Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps to effectively promote the ideals of American Freedom and Democracy. Our Mission is that of taking good care of our fellow Marines, their Families, and Widows. We are available with less than 24 hours’ notice to take care of any Emergencies that may arise. Our support and Outreach can be both Financial and/or hands-on assistance. In order to procure the needed funds for our work, we hold periodic Fundraising Events and receive either In-kind or Monetary Donations.
