Coral Thrift Shop Donation
Rainbow Sandals Foundation is proud to sponsor of TThe Coral Thrift Shop for another year. They help us by donating clothing for the unhoused.
The Coral Thrift Shop was founded over 50 years ago, when seven local mothers wanted to make a difference in the community. These San Clemente moms were military wives whose husbands were deployed to Vietnam. They came together to help other young families. They rented a building on El Camino Real and began a thrift shop. Since then the Coral Thrift Shop has raised and donated over $3 Million for South Orange County youth groups.
“This is a happy place,” Sandi said. “It makes you feel so good when you see a child’s face light up when finding a special book or toy they’ve wanted. It’s even better to know you’re supporting organizations that will help many children.”
