The Advocates
The Advocates is located in Hailey, Idaho, and was founded in 1991. The Advocates envision a compassionate community free from emotional and physical abuse. They aim to teach people of all ages how to build and maintain healthy, positive relationships with peers and partners. They accomplish this through education, shelter, resources, and support. Ensuring that no victim of abuse or violence in the Wood River Valley and surrounding areas ever have to struggle alone. The Advocates offers a comprehensive array of services - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and stalking. The Advocates answered approximately 8,000 calls for service yearly and provided 19,112 safe nights of housing in 2021. All of our services are free and confidential. Together we are saving lives and changing futures.
