"Through a critical donation from Rainbow® Sandals Foundation, Sixth Street Community Center in NYC will be able to continue its Emergency Food Distribution to support our food-insecure neighbors with fresh produce that is often hard to come by in food pantries.
Food insecurity is a household-level economic and social condition reflecting an inability to provide enough food for every person to live an active, healthy life. Hunger remains a persistent and prevalent reality for many New Yorkers.
