Fallbrook Child Development Center
The Fallbrook Child Development Center (FCDC) is a nonprofit corporation established in 1975 and administered by a volunteer board of directors. The center serves up to 48 children from low-income families whose parents are working or in school. Since its founding, the center has graduated more than 500 children, making a difference in many children's lives. FCDC's mission is to provide quality early childhood education and daycare for children ages one to five. They strive to promote each child's intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development in preparation for kindergarten. They are partially funded by the State Department of Education and licensed by the Department of Social Services. A critical part of our funding is provided by donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations. Rainbow® Sandals Foundation also donated 40 pairs of Repair • Reuse • Recycle Rainbow® Sandals. The families of the FCDC students have been selecting sandals at pick-up and drop-off times.
