Nov. 12, 2021 Rainbow Sandals Foundation made a donation to Las Palmas Elementary for their science camp experience. These funds will support the students' expanded educational opportunities by reducing the costs associated with this memorable experience. At the science camp, their students will have the unique opportunity to study the natural environment. Students hike established trails, investigate geological features, observe wildlife, and compare plant adaptations. During the evenings, students study the night sky through telescopes and use their senses to experience the forest at night.
