Sept 29, 2021 Rainbow® Sandals Foundation donated $50,000 to the Graceful Warrior Project (GWP) to build their first safe house for women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). With last year's donation, they were able to build a safe house in Tanzania. In the DRC, the land is almost triple the price vs. in Tanzania. This undertaking will take a little longer, probably ten months or more. This new two-story home will be able to accommodate about 40 women and children. We are so very grateful to be a part of this incredible undertaking.
