Sept 16, 2021 Rainbow® Sandals Foundation donated $ 50,000 that will go towards helping them serve over 100 inner-city youth with its St. Joe Stixx Drumline, youth choir, and dance troupes. Mid City Excellence Community Learning Center (MCE) has a mission to transition at-risk youth into adulthood for academic success, emotional stability and discover purpose and value through Christian-based principles. MCE's programs have served over 2000 youth since 2001. In its 20th year of service, we will engage 100 adults as well in career, parenting training, and mental health workshops.
