Coral Thrift Store

April 17, 2021| Today, we picked up some supplies from Coral Thrift Store for donation to support the migrant young girls (ages 12-17) that will be temporally housed in the surrounding convention centers either San Diego, Long Beach or Los Angeles. The girls are fleeing extreme violence and poverty in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. CTS was founded over 50 years ago, when seven local mothers wanted to make a difference in the community. They wee military wives whose husbands were deployed to Vietnam, coming together to help other young families. In 2019 CTS honored 54 recipients with their college scholarships.
